It is too many to remember at once. I would prefer to be taught 1/2 the signs currently being taught.
It is a few too many signs.
I am happy with the number of signs taught each lesson.

Bring on more signs. You could double the number taught each lesson and I would be happy!

What is your opinion about the length of each 1-hour session? *

I wish the class was 45 minutes.
I think an hour is the perfect amount of time.
1 hour, 15 minutes would be great, because it would give us time to practice what we learn.

How do you feel about your instructor showing you how to sign some of the words in ASL? *

I love it! I wish we had more ASL signs.
I like it. It is interesting. Do not change a thing.
I would prefer the sessions focus only on VoiceSign.

What Time Zone do you call in from? *

Since you call in from India, will you help VoiceSign understand why 6:30pm IST is not a preferred time for class? Is there something that happens in India around this time? Your instructor thought it would be a popular session, however it ended up being the exact opposite.

I have no idea why people are not signing up for the 6:30 pm IST sessions.

Describe ideal times for you to attend classes. Just think about YOUR time zone and what works best for you. You may be as specific or general as you wish. *

SPECIFIC example: I would like classes on either Mondays or Wednesdays at 7:30pm, or Thursdays at 10am, or Fridays at 3:45pm. GENERAL example: Evenings between 6 – 8pm work for me.

In Tier 1, Class 2 we add more signs to the topics you are currently learning. For example, you will learn more animals, foods, sentence making, places to go, things outside your house, etc. In addition, there are lessons on affixes, the calendar, time, feelings, the weather, prepositions, and clothing.

Sing-Sign classes are structured differently than the tiered classes. Instead of starting with the basics and working up, in Sing-Sign you will learn to how to sign the words to a song. It can be likened to immersion learning, if you are just beginning. Students of all levels seem to enjoy this class, as it is a lot of fun to sign to songs. What is more, after a few Sing-Sign classes, you will find you can apply many of your signs to new songs. Our next Sing-Sign is DO RE MI from the Broadway musical “The Sound of Music.”

If VoiceSign sold optional Lesson Materials on Amazon to go along with our tiered classes, would you be likely to purchase any of the following? (Prices are approximate.) Check all that apply. *

A WORKBOOK for $40USD which follows each lesson, containing both pictures and written instructions of how to sign each word, sign puzzles, questions to answer, notes sections, game instructions, flash cards (double-sided with the word on one side and the picture of the sign on the other), and sentence strips. (The later two would need to be cut out of the book.)
A BOX OF FLASH CARDS for $20USD. These flash cards would come pre-cut, and printed on sturdy card stock. They would be double-sided with the word on one side, and a picture of how to sign the word on the other.
A BOX OF SENTENCE STRIPS for $10USD. These sentence strips would come pre-cut and printed on sturdy paper, yet foldable paper. They would be one-sided.
A GAME SET for $25USD. This game set contains instructions and necessary pieces to play a different card game with each lesson. Instructions include how to play solitaire-style, along with how to play with others. Also included are two sets of game cards; one set has the written word, the other set displays a picture of the sign.
A STUDY KIT for $25USD containing the above flash cards and sentence strips.
A COMPLETE KIT for $75USD which includes a workbook, flash cards, sentence strips, and a game set.
I would not purchase any of these items.

I do not feel like they these items are necessary.
