Hearing-Nonverbal: People who can hear or mostly hear, either naturally or artificially (such as implants or hearing aids), yet cannot or do not form enough words with thier mouths to elicit sufficient communication.

SIGN LANGUAGE

Sign language can include signs from any system such as ASL, SEE, Pidgin, homemade signs, or gestures.

COMMUNICATION BOARDS

Unless otherwise specified, communication boards include both electronic boards or non-electronic such as pages in a binder.
